SIDES & STARTERS

CARTER COLSCH  Named after the summer playground lake for local residents, Carter COlsch is our “COlorado” version of the german kolsch ale. Brewed with Troubadour Pevec pilsner-style malt, this flagship beer hits the spot with malty goodness and just enough bitterness to invigorate the soul. (26 IBUs / 5.4% ABV)

1888 BLONDE ALE  A tribute to the early settlers who founded Berthoud, 1888 is our easy-drinking Blonde Ale for those seeking a beer light in flavor or for quenching a hard days work. Brewed with all-Troubadour grains, a light malt flavor is met with a hint of honey. Lightly hopped with Magnum and Citra hops for a touch of fruitiness and a crisp clean finish. (16 IBUs / 4.7% ABV)

RAILBENDER SCOTTISH  Railbender has been a taproom favorite since the beginning of BBC’s history. Malty with caramel sweetness and just a hint of smoke, Railbender is brewed for a lighter body that calls you back for another pint…or two…or three…(18 IBUs / 7.5% ABV)

MONK PUNCH  Brewed with a nod to the Trappist Monks of Belgium, our Dubbel style ale features deliciously rich, complex notes of caramel, dried fruit and banana. Have a seat with this well-balanced beer and discover new flavors with every sip. (25 IBUs / 8.8% ABV)

LITTLE THOMPSON PALE ALE  Our “Pale Ale” is an IPA wannabe. Malt plays a secondary role as cascade and mosaic hops deliver a refreshing citrus fruit hit to the senses. Moderate in bitterness and ABV, “LT” can be enjoyed one after another. (48 IBUs / 5.5% ABV)

5030' IPA  This beer has Berthoud altitude! Our double IPA sports huge notes of sweet orange and apricot compliments of a heap of Centennial hops. An all-Troubadour grain bill provides a solid malt backbone for balance. Incredibly approachable for a DIPA. (55 IBUs / 8.7% ABV)

HOP DEVILLE  This Belgian-inspired Imperial IPA rides like a Caddy. Eight hop varieties from America and “Down Under” combine to create a tropical oasis. Big, juicy and dank with high octane, Hop D will leave skid marks on your tongue. (86 IBUs / 9.4% ABV)

RAYFIELD RED IPA  You just might “split your lip” on the resiny bitterness of this red IPA brewed with a heavy dose of Columbus and Simcoe hops. An all-Troubadour grain bill shouts caramel and toasty malt. Yummy fruit punch aromas of ripe peach and berries round out the flavor spectrum. (72 IBUs 6.7% ABV)
